Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017 welcomed stars of Bollywood on the ramp to flaunt some of the best in designer wear. Among a huge round of applause every time, the celebrities showcased some of the most gorgeous outfits that the couturiers had planned for the upcoming winter season. Comprising of eastern, western and fusion, the collections managed rile up much applause from the spectators.
Vaani Kapoor flaunted a sensuous all-red wedding ensemble by Paras Modi that had trickling gold work on the hemline. Adding a diversion from gold and red, the dupatta had beautiful dark blue and gold borders. To make things interesting, her look also included a rustic silver waist belt and funky ring to accompany it.
Shriya Saran asked for attention in the right way! Walking the ramp in mini top and wide pants, she completely embodied the chic in her in the deep blue outfit. While at it, she also posed for a photograph to celebrate world photography day with photo-graphers at the fashion week.
Shradhha Kapoor rocked the modern bride avatar in a Rahul Mishra dress. Her full-sleeved, bright red crop top had pretty thread floral embroidery in the front as did the sheer fabric covering her skirt. To complete the look, the designer paired the ensemble with a baby pink sheer dupatta.
Bhumi Padnekar channeled a traditional bridal look in a Ruceru number. She looked breathtaking in the solid red ensemble that included a top, gown with sparkling
gold wire embroidery and a dupatta draped across stylishly, all in silk. To mix things up, she chose to wear funky jewellery
Priety Zinta looked like a vision in Falguni Shane Peacock & Farah Khan gown. The off-shoulder number is fit for any dream red carpet to dazzle everyone with elegance trailing behind. The actress showed everyone how to live 40s in style when she graced the ramp with utmost confidence, glowing like a pearl. The dress complemented Priety’s impressive figure perfectly; her gown had an Elizabethan touch to it with a fitted bodice and an over the-top body.
Esha Gupta flaunted her outfit on the runway like a true mermaid! Her Amit Aggarwal gown was in two major tones; the gown was based on electric blue shade while the top was of clay hue. The textured blouse made the actress look like a gladiator and had a bow at one side. The skirt, however, was the highlight, as it spoke volumes with its ‘firework’ embroidery in different tones of gold. Esha further cemented her look with mermaid waved in her tresses and over-sized funky earrings.
