WRITE THERAPY
Keep a food journal. Write down everything you eat each day - what you eat, how much and why. Zero in on your excesses immediately. Once you have it before you in black and white, spot and replace all culprits with healthier alternatives. Facing your food fears can help conquer old habits.
[ DESSERT WATCHING ]:Cut sweet tooth
Try to go without sweets for two weeks. Abstinence is a great way to control your cravings. Eat more fruit; chances are that if you get enough fruit in your diet you will not miss your sweets too much. Strike a healthy balance - have low-fat icecream and fruit, or just fruit with a dollop of whipped cream. Ideally, you can indulge in sweets every third day as long as you don’t exceed your quota of 150 calories. It’s okay to eat about an ounce of chocolate, half a modest slice of cake, or half cup of regular icecream every third day. Drink warm unsweetned mint tea if you like.
CAN A CHILD BE BORN AFTER ITS father’s death?
In an amazing development, a man now may store his semen in a sperm bank for future use by his wife, in case he passes away without having a child. The National Guidelines for Accreditation, Supervision and Regulation of Artificial Reproductive Techniques Clinics in India Bill has made provision for a widow to have a child with her deceased husband’s sperm. What’s more, the child born from this afterlife union will be given legal status as well as the dead father’s name.
WATER THERAPY
Whether you go for a high carb or a high protein food plan make sure you include lots of water in it. Most often water gets ignored as one tends to concentrate on what to eat (or not), but unless you have at least 8-10 glasses a day all your efforts may come to nought. Take an honest look at your present intake; build up by adding two glasses per week. Don’t wait to get thirsty; drink up regardless of whether you’re in an AC or a non-AC environment.
