Aiming to solve one more of your hair woes, we got down with a celebrity hairstylist to help us decode the tricks to wrapping up a chic ballerina-esque bun with minimum effort.
Step 1: Brush the hair thoroughly and smooth on some serum so that you can stop wisps from forming. A brush with wooden bristles will help in creating a smoother look.
Step 2: Tie a ponytail on the back of the head with a band and separate the ponytail into two parts, pull to make the ponytail tight. Tying a single knot is much the same way you would tie any knot: place one section of the parted hair over the other, loop that section through the created hold and pull the two parts tight.
Step 3: Tuck the ends under the knot, again using bobby pins to secure the hair. Finish with long hold hair spray and some high shine spray. To add texture pull out some wisps of hair for a messier look or leave sleek and slick for a more formal occasion.
