October 2006 The couple start proceedings to adopt a 13-month-old Malawian boy named David Banda.
May 2008 Ritchie shares a photo with his wife at the Cannes Film Festival in France - their last public appearance before meeting with divorce lawyers.
Secret of a Strong Marriage
How does supermodel Heidi Klum keep her three-year marriage to Seal going strong? “There are many, many things,” the Project Runway host, 35, told media at the Peabody Awards in NYC, “but I would say love is the most important thing.”

Is Brit back with Adnan?
Britney Spears is reportedly secretly back with old flame Adnan Ghalib. Brit split from the pap earlier this year when she allegedly found texts from another woman on his phone, but, according to reports, Adnan has been seen sneaking into Brit’s gated community for clandestine visits. The pair are also rumoured to have been exchanging texts, complaining about Brit’s controlling dad Jamie - who openly disapproves of Adnan.
According to reports Brit’s doctors have even warned that the shady photographer is a bad influence on Brit and could jeopardise her recovery. Meanwhile, pal Mel Gibson has reportedly been trying to set Brit up with his son Ed.
Mel felt Ed would be a great influence on Britney, and if the relationship turned into romance, all the better,” said a source.
