Dear Mag
A few days back I was at boat basin in Karachi. I found many boys selling magazines of various interests from car to car. Some people even bought magazines from the boys, which shows that it is a good medium to sell one’s product. A few minutes later while passing the standard magazine vendor stall, I noticed once again that your magazine was on display. In my opinion utilising the car-to-car service may have good results. I am a marketing person and I know the effectiveness of various mediums. This is just a suggestion as Mag is bought by my wife and I go through it as well and it is sort of interesting. Hence, the suggestion.
Marketeer
Dear Marketeer,
Thankyou for the suggestion, taking interest in our magazine and for your feedback. You are a marketing man and I’m sure that your suggestion would be worthwhile. We will make a point to discuss this matter and if the suggestion you have made is feasible we will surely implement it. Let us have your input whenever you can. It is you, our readers that make us what we are.
Team MAG |
Hey Mag,
I liked the Will Smith caricature and the quote. That was a cool thing. Anyway I’m not writing to tell you what I like or dislike. What I’m actually writing for, is the reason that a few months back I had mentioned that there is no subscription form in your magazine! And apparently none appeared either. Like I mentioned earlier in my letter, it is easy to fill out a subscription form and mail it rather than sending emails and calling people up. I subscribe other magazines too and I do it by following the same procedure, I recommend for you. Is it asking too much or is it something which you guys don’t do like some tabloids in the UK? Whatever it is here or abroad, I cant make sense of not having a subscription form included in the magazine.
Saifullah Sami
Dear Saifullah,
Frankly you are right. We got your 1st letter too in which you had mentioned a subscription form and we are printing this letter too so you know we are going through our mails. Proficient, we have to be. You seem a well read person. You didn’t mention your age otherwise we’d be more precise in answering your letter. As I started out, yes you are right. The subscription forms are a sort of mandatory with almost all magazines. We will work on it and soon you will see a subscription form appear in the MAG. Meanwhile you can visit our website: www.magtheweekly.com which will be a help for time being. But we’re on the job don’t worry. Thanks for reminding.
Team MAG
Dear Concerned,
Where you are giving a comprehensive account of all that is going on around within and outside the country I would appreciate if you also give some economy and investment related articles and updates to the readres. This suggestion I am making because I am a reader of your magazine. Its an easy magazine to leaf through and is not too expensive either. Some news of the financial world , I’m sure would be much welcomed by many including myself who is in the finance field.
Majid Arshi
Dear Mr Arshi,
Thank you for your input. We always appreciate feedback from our readers. It is true that we are continually upgrading our magazine and take into account everything that our readers share with us. There have been more queries as to when will we start a finance section or page. As they say ‘all in good time’. We will surely start the finance page for readers who are interested in the subject. The only thing is one cannot just jump to it. We are sure you will understand that to balance a publication and that too a weekly has to be a perfect blend of many ingredients of which we are trying to make a good dish of. It is meant to serve you with the very best that the week can bring to you. Thanking you again,
Team MAG
