One of Kuwait’s roads have been recently named after the poet of the east, Allama Iqbal. The road is located in Fahaheel area, Street No. 21.
A plaque is embedded on the roadside with these words: “Allama Muhammad Iqbal s/o Noor s/o Muhammad Rafique dreamt of creating Pakistan in 1938 and the country came into existence in 1947. Iqbal had complete command over Arabic, Urdu and Persian language.”
This step taken by Kuwait’s administration is certainly commendable and a reason for our nation to be proud of the leaders who contributed their efforts in making Pakistan a reality.
