Research finds that proper back and knee angles can be fairly effective for clinical treatment. According to a new research, the recurring physical movements in namaz have the ability to lessen the chances of pain in the lower back if it is performed properly.
The study has found that quiet prayer not only eliminates physical apprehensions, in fact the proper angles can also have an impact on clinical treatments for back and knee issues.
Approximately, 1.6 billion Muslims around the world kneel, bow and position their head on the ground at least five times a day in the direction of the Holy Kaaba in Makkah. Mohammad Khasawneh, the study’s co-author states, “One way to think about the movements is that they are similar to those of yoga or physical therapy intervention exercises used to treat lower back pain.”
The study has utilised Indian, Asian and American human models of men and women generated via computer for the purpose of identifying the effect of the activity on lower back pain. Khasawneh further added, “Prayer can eliminate physical stress and anxiety, while there is also research that indicates prayer rituals can be considered an effective clinical treatment of neuro-musculoskeletal dysfunction.”
