All’s Not Well With Big B…

BIG BBollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was hospitalised in Mumbai Hospital, where he was admitted on his 66th birthday after complaining of stomach pain, recently.
The legendary actor was rushed to the hospital one day earlier and was placed under observation. He had undergone surgery in 2005 for an intestinal condition.
"He had a restful night and the tests do not show any abnormality," said the doctor about his condition. Earlier, hospital spokesman Mohan Rajan said, "Mr Bachchan has stomach pain, he's undergoing medical tests. There is no cause for concern."
Television channels showed the actor, in a woollen cap and shawl, lying on a stretcher with son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and daughter Shweta by his side. Dozens of fans held a nightlong vigil outside the hospital for the actor's health.

Soha’s Smashing Birthday Present

Soha AliActress Soha Ali Khan had a quiet birthday early this month, but she is ready to take off to exotic locales in South Africa with her mother Sharmila Tagore for a sabbatical this week.
"I couldn't meet my parents for my birthday since they have been in England. But I am going for a holiday with my mother. We are going to South Africa - just my mom and me, which is a sort of present for me," Soha told media.
Soha turned 30 on October 4 and spent the day with her elder sister Saba Ali Khan, who is a jewellery designer by profession.
"I spent my birthday with my sister and she gifted me a wonderful sari. She has a great taste in clothes and colours," said Soha who earned rave reviews for her performance in the recently released Mumbai Meri Jaan.
"I didn't get to meet my brother because he was busy shooting.”
The actress, who was shooting in New Delhi last week for a comedy film "99", feels she is a pampered person and says it is justified since she is "youngest child in the family."
"I will always be the baby of the house, no matter how old I grow," said Soha who will also be seen in Sudhir Mishra's Tera Kya Hoga Johnny.

I Don’t Claim I’m Talented’ - Reshamiya

Himesh Reshamiya“I decided to do Karzzzz because I love Rishi Kapoor... I’m a huge fan of the actor,” says Himesh. “Even though I’m not half as good-looking or successful, both Subhash Ghai and Pyarelal, the director and music composer of the original, thought I’d fit the bill. Even Ram Gopal Varma SMSed me and said, ‘The promos of Karzzzz look fab.’
I don’t claim I’m talented... I’m not a trained actor nor am I a good dancer. Nothing in my life was planned. At 15, I started playing the keyboard, but hadn’t even thought of a career in music. Then I went to become a rockstar. Now, I’ve got into acting. I have my own complexes, which is why I don’t star opposite established heroines. So if people appreciate me today, whether for my music or acting, it’s all luck and destiny.
No intimate scenes for me... You will not see me smooching or going beyond that in my films. I’m not comfortable doing something like that on screen. Which is also why I refused do such a scene in Pooja Bhatt’s Kajra Re. Mahesh Bhatt understood how I felt about the issue and we didn’t shoot for it.”
Himesh is now a complete package... “Last year, I decided that I would sing and compose music for films only if I’m acting in them. I felt I was getting overexposed because there were at least 50 of my songs hitting the charts in a year. That kind of exposure can be disastrous for an artiste. The USP of signing me is that you get an actor, singer and a composer all in one.
I’ve done away with my trademark cap... I used to wear it because I was bald. Now that my sister-stylist Roopa has given me a make-over with a new hair transplant, I don’t need to hide under a cap anymore. She’s made me look presentable. I also undergo a transition every two years, be it my music or my looks. My personal life is my own...
I don’t like to talk about my family and neither do they. All I care about is my fans. About 90 per cent like what I do, and I will definitely win over the rest.”
