Highest Paid
Bollywood
Babe
Katrina Kaif, who has delivered six back-to-back hits at the box office, has apparently become the highest paid actress in the industry.
Her current market rate is Rs 3.5 crores and she is likely to cross the mark very soon as big production houses are keen to sign her at any cost.
According to sources, Katrina has signed a two-film deal for an amount that far exceeds her present rate of Rs 3.5 crores. One film is by Abbas-Mustan and the other is supposed to be a Hollywood flick.
When quizzed about the same, Katrina did not reveal much and only said that she too hopes to create magic with big production houses.
Tantalising
Tabu
She’s lost weight, but when Tabu went to Delhi recently, she didn’t hesitate to throw some weight around. Moody, stressed out and stiff smile on her face, the actress snapped at a lensman who was trying to click her, “That’s enough, don’t click me anymore. I don’t like to be clicked for the front
page. So please, I request you not to click my pictures anymore. I’m also very tired and sleepy.”
Later, however, in spite of her weariness and exhaustion, Tabu was all set to party the night away with some friends in Delhi at their place. The things people will do for friends, really!
KIM Sharma
Under
Watch
Kim says that she always believed in doing things at her pace. "I can't understand people who are constantly looking at their watches and running about in a hurry to go somewhere. They behave as
if it were a life and death situation. People need to slow down and get their priorities right. Once that is done and things are made orderly then one won't require to move around at a fast pace." Point taken! Now the big question is how does she manage without a watch? That's a mystery.
Miss Lucky-
Two-Shoes
Amrita Rao has more reason to celebrate. Not only is the actress being flooded with film offers galore post the success of Welcome to Sajjanpur, but the girl is being considered the lucky mascot for most actors, the latest being Shreyas Talpade, who also tasted his first commercial success with his Shyam Benegal film with Amrita after Iqbal.
In fact, the actress had earlier proven lucky for her co-stars including Vivek Oberoi in Masti, Shahid Kapur in Ishq Vishq and Vivaah, and Zayed Khan in Main Hoon Na. Says Shreyas, “I have always recognised Amrita as a fine actress. Our approach towards work is similar and I really enjoyed
working with her. She certainly brought me luck with the welcoming success of Welcome to Sajjanpur. I am looking forward to working with her again as our chemistry worked wonders for the film’s success.” Seems like Bollywood’s Miss Goody-Two-Shoes is proving to be Miss Lucky-Two-Shoes as well!
