Aaraiz - Aarzoo
One band that has been making waves in the recent times is undoubtedly, Aaraiz. The Islamabad based consists of band Nabeel Amjad (lead guitars), Sufiyan Javed (vocals), Noman Ali (Bass) & Tabbish Mahmood (drums) and Fahad Saeed (rhythms) and has come up with the debut video of a track called Aarzoo, taken from their unreleased first album.
Commencing with mellow guitar riffs, Aarzoo seems to be a placate tune in the beginning as the listener decides to relax on the couch and enjoy Sufyan's captivating voice. But just when its least expected, the track transforms into a heavy fuelled rock ditty fused with Tabbish's lethal stick work Noman's hard hitting bass waves and an exciting chorus. However, the noticeable aspect throughout the course of the track is the Nabeel's immaculate guitar playing. This chap impresses me and is surely seems to be the next best thing.
While the track is quite catchy musically, the lyrical content also very strong. Lines such as verses such as Aarzoo hai meri, yeh hath chotay nahi, sung beetay yeh pal, yeh sath chootay nahe speak about the most wonderful relationship in the world; friendship. The theme of song is about a bunch of students sharing the moments of sorrow and happiness spent together at their university premises. The video of the track is directed by Murzie and its theme is synchronous to that of the track. Bravo, Aaraiz

Bandeya - Khuda Kay Liye
Pakistan's first official movie release in India, Khuda Kay Liye has been a major success and is obviously great to witness the role of art neutralizing the cross border tension. Shoaib Mansoor's movie has a variety of quality numbers of which Bandeya is definitely my favourite. A soothing Sufi rock number, it grabs the listener's attention in the very first listening. The lyrics are very deep , meaningful and relative to mankind. The club version remixed by Dj Suketu promises to be a club floor banger and is a must listen!
Zara Sa - Jannat
Bhatt brothers' latest venture Jannat comes after the musical failures of Dhoka & Superstar. For the Emraan Hashmi starrer, the Bhatts have hired Pritam and Sayeed Quadri, as composer and lyricist, respectively. Zara Sa, recalls of the glory of the music success of Gangster where K.K scored a hit in the form of Tu Hi Meri Shab. K.K's voice casts a magical spell on the listener that is further intensified with the 'O Oyo Oyo' theme line. It's one of the best romantic numbers of the year so far and is the best way to express love to your beloved!

Madonna & Justin Timberlake - 4 Minutes
What do you expect from a track which has Pop Queen Madonna & Pop Prince Justin Timberlake holding the microphone and is bestowed with the production touch of Timbaland? Something incredible of course! 4 Minutes is one such track that makes you sit down and take notice. Is Madonna obsessed with time or what? Her last track Hung Up had 'time' as the prime subject where she whined about how time has become still. But on 4 Minutes, she joins voices with Timberlake humming the opposite i.e. time is running short so we have "4 Minutes to Save the World". Madonna has given us some great tunes over the years and this one is equally good. If 4Minutes is the trailer of what her new album Hard Candy has to offer, then we are here for some real groovy treat. Welcome back, Madonna!
Janet Jackson - Feedback
The last two decades haven't changed pop idol Janet Jackson a bit. She can still take any one's breath away with the courtesy of her sexy, sugary and saucy vocals as well as her seductive gasps and rasps. Her latest chart buster Feedback finds a place in the category of her greatest ever hit Nasty and brings back the memories when was young and happening and full of life. It is a pure dance floor thumper having Janet in her top form singing outrageous lyrics and partying it out on thumping dance beat. The producer Rodney Jerkins deserves all the applause for this wonderfully produced number. Hot stuff!
