Is Katrina Mad At Sonakshi?
Is there a cold war on between Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha? Apparently, Kat is not feeling too friendly towards Sonakshi. Reportedly, Sonakshi sent Katrina a text message to try and sort things out between them. But Kat hasn't replied back, even after two weeks. So what is the problem between Katrina and Sonakshi? Allegedly, Katrina's never been too fond of Salman's Dabangg heroine to begin with. And she's supposedly even more annoyed after Sonakshi topped an online poll as the most searched for Bollywood celeb, beating established stars including Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor and, of course, Kat herself.
Ranbir's An Item Boy
Ranbir Kapoor is set to compete with the Munnis and Sheilas of Bollywood. He's turning item boy for a new movie Chillar Party! But we're guessing that Ranbir's item number won't be quite as out there as Malaika and Katrina's signature songs. Chillar Party is a children's movie, and since it doesn't feature any established B'wood names in the cast, RK has been brought on board. The song has a very modern, fun style to it, and is being choreographed by Bosco Caesar. Aki Narula will be styling Ranbir's look in it.
The Khans Are Set To Clash At The Box-Office
Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have been on fairly good terms with each other for a while now, with a lot of bonding happening at Imran Khan's wedding most recently. But is there a battle on the cards between the Khans? Nothing personal, of course, but they might be on a collision course at the box-office. Here's how! Shah Rukh's Don 2 is set to release on December 24 this year, and earlier it had seemed like there would be no other big release at the same time. Apparently, the release date for the Aamir-Rani Mukherjee starrer being directed by Reema Kagti was even moved forward to not clash with SRK's sequel. But now, Aamir is supposedly planning to release his home production Delhi Belly on the same day as Don 2. Delhi Belly, directed by Abhinay Deo, stars Aamir's nephew Imran. While the cast generally comprises newcomers, Aamir's name and his undeniable marketing skills have already created a buzz about the movie.
Deepika Padukone Crowned 'Tattoo Queen'
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been chosen as the "tattoo queen" by the organisers of the first Tattoo Convention in India. The 25-year-old star sports tattoos of her former boyfriend's initials and another one of an anklet. After watching her in a remixed song in the upcoming film Dum Maaro Dum, IndiaInk Invention got in touch with the model-turned-actress and requested her to visit their first-ever convention. They were keen on her presence at the expo as they consider the Om Shanti Om actress to be the "tattoo queen". However, the actress could not attend the convention as she was abroad for a film shoot. With her own much-written about RK tattoo at the base of her neck and the cutting-edge Dum Maaro Dum tattoo she's seen sporting in the movie, she would have been the perfect ambassador for this tattoo expo. As Deepika was shooting in London for Desi Boyz, she could not attend the event, but forwarded the invitation to her Dum Maaro Dum team. Abhishek Bachchan, Prateik and Rohan Sippy attended the convention instead.
Now, Amisha Patel Turns Producer
If you can't make it big in films, or find a man to settle down with, turn to production. That has been the mantra for most Bollywood ladies lately. Sushmita Sen was the first to venture this way. Although her dream production, a film on Jhansi Ki Rani Laxmibai couldn't take off from the planning stage, she paved the way for others. The latest addition to the list, however, is the Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai girl Amisha Patel. The actress has planned a big bash over the weekend for her friends and relatives wherein she will announce the launch of her production house, Amisha Patel Productions. She, of course will not be doing this alone. Her friend Kunal who has been keeping her company at many social events including Shilpa Shetty's bash, Imran Khan's wedding reception and the New Year celebrations in Dubai, will be the partner. Explaining how Amisha turn producer, a source added, "Amisha has a lot of interesting content which she wants to convert into films. Very soon, she shall be appointing a team full of promising and accomplished directors to start making movies for her."
Salman, Sonakshi Most Searched Indian Celebs
Salman Khan and newcomer Sonakshi Sinha have been named the most searched Indian celebrities on the web in a new survey. Salman beat action star Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn in the survey carried across the metros as well as tier-II and tier-III cities. Bollywood heartthrobs Ranbir Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor wrapped up the top five. She might be one-film old, but Sonakshi came ahead of the likes of Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif to be the most searched celebrity on the internet among the female brigade. Sonakshi made her debut with blockbuster Dabangg alongside Salman Khan and will now be seen with Akshay in Shirish Kunder's Joker and in Dabangg 2. Priyanka came second and Sonam Kapoor followed at the third slot. Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif landed at the fourth and fifth spots in the survey.
