What gave you your first break?

When I was working as a visual effects director with my late sister Sadia Ashraf on Haroon’s music video Ishq Nasha, it was the first time I appeared in front of the camera. Even though it was a small role but things moved forward for me from there.

I wish I had the power of mind control like Professor X from X-Men.

I listen to all kinds of music, anything that sounds good to my ears. I especially like 80s’ music, such as Vital Signs, Junoon, and other old songs.

What’s your idea of beauty?

Beauty is all about having a beautiful personality.

Would you call yourself an extrovert or introvert?

Both. I can be an introvert or extrovert depending on the situation, place and time. Usually, I’m very friendly, open and easy to get along with.

Who do you idealise in terms of your work?

I don’t idealise any actor but I idealise my dad, for he is my inspiration.

To work in a prestigious Hollywood production or play a Bond villain.

Most vivid childhood memory?

Unfortunately, it’s a sad one, when I had typhoid. I just cannot forget those eight to nine months because it was a near death experience.

Don’t waste time, follow your dreams and believe in yourself.
