The #MeToo movement has been a powerful force in helping to raise awareness of sexual harassment, especially in the workplace. It has provided a platform for those affected to speak openly about their ordeals. So far, most of the people who have come forward have been women; a few men have also come forward with allegations that they were victims of sexual misconduct, with the latest being actor Azfar Rehman. Talking about the #MeToo movement on the talkshow By The Way with Begum Nawazish Ali, Rehman said about the horrendous crime that, “It’s a very sensitive subject. No one should be harassed. You cannot force yourself on anyone. That’s wrong.” Disagreeing with the notion that only women get harassed and sharing his own experience with harassment, Azfar says, “Being a male artist, there were few times when I was harassed by few female artists. I would not like to name them since I have ignored it but women cannot always be right.”
