Ethereal Decadence

The fashion game as we know it, is extremely dynamic. Trends change with every season bringing with them a fresh lease of styles that infuse our wardrobes with liveliness and vivacity. Silhouettes, fabrics, prints, colours, you name it, and there will be a zillion variations to play with each. Keeping in mind the changing weather currently, we bring you some of the most happening spring-summer trends that are expected to be game-changers this season. Get ready to embrace the hottest fashion that will be in vogue this spring/summer of 2021!

Monotone clothing is big this year. It has gone from drab and dreary to chic and trendy. And if worn correctly it can put all other fashion trends in shade. We thought monotone could be boring but this year, fashion designers are leaving no stone unturned in showing us why it is one of the biggest trends.

The main colours that are ruling the fashion scene are hues of whites, blacks and pinks. If you are someone who likes to go all out with just one colour, here’s a tip: try picking one colour and wear shades of the same or you can even pair it with white for a look that stands out. If you want, you can break it with a print and visionary embroidery. We love the intricate embroidered details at the sleeves of this number in pink. We also love how the designer has added a pop of colour to this top to toe white ensemble by adding floral embroidery in pink and green.

Also, we cannot stress enough on how important sleeves and borders are to the entire look. Of late, sleeve and hem designs are hogging all the limelight and the trend continues well into this season as well. That being said, if you have been closely following the runway trends, fringes could not have escaped your attention either. A trend that caught fire in the wedding season, fringes continue to ruffle us (pun intended) this season too.

Borders, sleeves or the entire fabric adorned with them, fringes enhance the look of any outfit easily making our designer wear dreams come true! Apart from fringes at the borders and sleeves, designers are also going for different cutworks to elevate their outfits, like the cutwork done at the hem and sleeves of this black kurti. All in all, the attention of the designers is now more towards creating versatile cuts and silhouettes and opting for simple, lighter hues rather than going all out on embroideries, embellishments and bold hues.
