Critically acclaimed actor Khalid Ahmad won the award for best actor at Harlem International Film Festival

Veteran actor Khalid Ahmad finally gets his due credit for blessing our industry with his magnificent performances. The actor, who holds the place of an institution when it comes to acting, bagged the award for best actor at Harlem International Film Festival for Sakina Samo’s directorial debut film Intezar. Samo took to Instagram to share the news with her followers, she wrote, "Khalid Ahmed sahb wins the Best Actor award for Intezar at the Harlem International Film Festival in New York. I am delighted for him." Speaking to a publication, Ahmad shared that it feels great to be honoured with an international award, "I feel very happy and especially encouraged because this is the first acting award I've ever received in my whole life. I have never received a single award in Pakistan, ever, so getting an international award is a great feeling," he revealed. The cast of the film also includes Samina Ahmed, Kaif Ghaznavi, Raza Ali Abid and Adnan Jaffar in other lead roles. Also, the film is expected to release in Pakistan soon.
