How would you define yourself as a person?

I’m an introvert and precisely, a highly sensitive person. I’m not a very social person and don’t mix up easily.

Your journey is a very interesting one. You are a dentist who took up modelling and is now also an actor. How do you manage multiple careers?

I have to say this that I’m blessed with the best dental team and it’s quite easy to manage actually. I do my clinic in the evenings and utilise my mornings or weekends for fashion shoots. When I have to travel for my drama shoots, then I take off from the clinic.

Do you have a specific list of actors and directors with whom you wish to work?

I would love to work with ace Italian actor Michelle Morrone, he’s my favourite.

What are the factors you keep in mind before you pick up a script?

I basically look forward for the character's projection and the kind of character that I’m offered.

Modelling or acting, which one do you like the most and why?

Umm, I would say both, can’t pick one. Like apple and oranges. Modelling is static, and on the other hand acting is dynamic.

Would you ever sign a drama where content isn't the king but has a big name attached to it?

I think that I can’t say anything exactly at the moment. It totally depends on the projection of the character that is being offered to me. I look for margin that I get to perform.

What kind of characters would you like to play in your future projects?

I would surely love to play a psychopath or a sociopath. These characters tend to have a lot of margin to perform as an actor.

Will we ever be able to see you perform on the big screen?

Yes for sure, why not! I want to explore each and every medium that includes acting.

Have you ever faced unnecessary hate on social media? How do you cope with it?

A lot of times. Mostly people troll me over changing my name for the showbiz industry. I try to cope with it with immense patience. I believe that my name and my religion are between me and my Almighty. And so, people should stop poking their nose in it.

Who is your favourite actor/actress that inspires you the most?

Saba Qamar. She inspires me the most and I love her.

What do you enjoy the most about acting profession?

It would be travelling and exploring new locations for sure.

What's your favourite memory from the sets of any of your drama serials?

My favourite memory till date would be shooting at the beach during my serial Katto.

Where do you see yourself as an actor in the next five years?

All I can say is just wait and watch.

Lastly, what are your upcoming projects?

Tasveer – a very interesting web series but nowadays it is on air on Play Entertainment as well. My upcoming projects include some digital films too.
