Celebrities diagnosed with the novel Covid-19 recently


Pakistan's coronavirus cases and deaths have seen a spike in recent days. According to a data collected, Punjab and Islamabad have reported more than 100 cases in the past four days. Punjab has also seen an increase in the number of deaths during the past few days. Declaring the transport sector, markets, marriage halls, restaurants and public gatherings as high-risk areas, the provinces are advised to take steps to prevent the spread of the virus. Several celebrities from the media industry have also been diagnosed with the virus recently. Here, we’ve compiled a list of the celebs tested positive for the virus:

Usman Mukhtar: Actor and filmmaker, Usman Mukhtar shared on his Instagram that he has been tested positive for COVID-19. He wrote, “Guys, I’ve been tested positive for COVID-19. Thankfully, I am also tested positive for having awesome people like you to pray for my health,” shared the Sabaat star.

Farwa Kazmi: Model Farwa Ali Kazmi recently announced that she had tested positive for Covid-19, requesting everyone who has come in recent contact with her, to isolate themselves. She wrote, "I am Covid positive. Everyone who has been in touch with me or Ali in the past week please quarantine yourself."

Ameer Gillani: Actor Ameer Gilani, who recently rose to fame with his impeccable performance in Sabaat, has also tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He shared on his Instagram, “And you know when we isolate ourselves, when we test positive for [the coronavirus], which is my case. Indeed, it is a very tough time. I can’t smell or taste so I’m in need of your prayers,” he said in the video he posted.

Saheefa Jabbar: Model turned actor, Saheefa Jabbar Khattak, and her husband Khawaja Khizer Hussain are the latest victims of the infectious disease. “Covid positive,” she shared the news on Instagram. “Send little love, prayers and flowers our way,” Saheefa added.
