The incredible duo of Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali has time and again proved their mettle as versatile actors. Where Yumna is known for her strong performances in Darr si Jaati hai Sila, Pyaar Ke Sadqay and many more, Wahaj is an actor who saw new heights with his incredible acting prowess and a knack for choosing diverse roles in projects like, Dil Nawaz, Mah-e-Tamaam, Dil-e-Bereham, Ehd-e-Wafa, and the currently on-air drama Ghisi Piti Mohabbat. Both have amassed much love from their fans and great respect from drama critics with outstanding performances on their credit. The drama is made in collaboration with Kashf Foundation. Dil Na Umeed Tou Nahi is a narrative-based story, focused on addressing social cause and highlights the issue of human trafficking. The drama is penned by Amna Mufti and directed by Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’s Kashif Nisar. Apart from bringing together both these actors for the first time, it also features an ensemble cast which consists of Nauman Ejaz, Samiya Mumtaz, Yasra Rizvi, Navid Shehzad, Omair Rana, and others.
