· ¼ cup red miso paste

· 4 x 200 g beef sirloin steaks

· 1½ cups sushi rice

· ¼ cup peanut oil

· 250 g green beans

· 2 carrots

· 2 tablespoons mirin

· 2 tablespoons soy sauce

· 2 radishes

· 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds

· 1 teaspoon white sesame seeds

Rub miso paste over steaks and set aside to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the rice according to packet instructions. Drain and set aside. Drizzle two tablespoons oil over steaks, heat fry pan over medium-high heat and cook the steaks until cooked to your liking. Set aside to rest, loosely covered with foil, for five minutes. Heat the remaining oil over medium-high heat. Add the beans and carrot, and cook, stirring, until just tender. Add the mirin and soy, and cook for further two minutes. Add the radish and resting juices from the steak, then stir to combine and remove from heat. Slice steak and serve with warm slaw and rice. Scatter with sesame seeds to serve.
