Faryal Mehmood - Fiercely Bold & Artistic

She’s bold, talented and refreshingly real, we’re talking about the gorgeous model and actress Faryal Mehmood. It’s a known fact that television’s favourite actress, already has some enthralling performances in her kitty. She started off acting from theatre and later moved on to television to prove her acting skills and rightfully so. It is not wrong to say that talent surely runs in her family. She is the daughter of Pakistani singer Rohani Bano. And renowned acting legend Ruhi Bano was her aunt. The actress has a keen interest in dancing and is very passionate about it too.

Faryal has emerged as the breakout star with the Pakistani web series Enaaya. Her uninhibited portrayal of what she calls “the gangster girl” has her won all the accolades and she’s been praised a lot since. Also, she will be starring in debutant film director Sohail Javed’s upcoming film venture, Sorry I Love You.

We can’t wait for her to create magic on the big screen as well, after conquering hearts all the way through her television journey.

The actress with an old-world charm to her personality continues to impress the industry’s clan with her astonishing performances. Married to actor Daniyal Raheal, veteran actress Simi Raheal’s son, this celebrity couple is no less than a power couple. Mehmood’s journey so far, however, hasn’t really been like the famous proverbial she-came-she-saw-she-conquered.

Born and raised in New York, this talented model and actor’s ambition brought her to Karachi, where she was to live entirely by herself and struggle in the initial days.

But her utmost zeal for acting made her achieve all that she is today. She landed a small role in actor- producer Hamza Ali Abbasi’s (now shelved) project Kambakht, and a few not-too- significant parts in TV plays like Main Bushra and Siskiyaan before her first major TV drama, Laal Ishq happened in 2017. And there is no looking back for the actress since then. Few of her dramas among many others are Daasi, Dolly Darling, Ramz-e-Ishq, Baba Jani, Tum Se Hi Talluq Hai, Yeh Ishq Hai, Babban Khala Ki Betiyann, Hiddat, Mohabbat Tumse Nafrat Hai, Mera Yaar Mila Dey, Ek Pal Ka Malaal, and Teri Chah Mein etc. Also, she has signed a Netflix series, about which no other details are revealed, accept that the producer of the series is a Canadian, and it will have a Pakistani director on board.

The actress is in no hurry to signs projects left right and center and expedite her career in films as well as TV because she can’t ruin all the hard work she has put herself through to reach where she is today. Her dance videos at Danish Hayat’s (Mehwish Hayat’s brother) shehndi became viral and everyone wanted to know if the actress has learnt dance formally. It was then; people discovered her knack of dancing, as she has exceptional dancing skills. Talking about her fashion sense, be it red carpet appearances, ramp walks, photo-shoots or television show appearances – there's hardly any moment where she misses to impress the viewers for her invincible fashion sense.

When it comes to ethnic dressing, not everyone can pull off well, but Faryal has done justice to each outfit which she has wore with the right amount charm needed to carry these embellished dresses. She proves yet again, that no one could have pulled these regal and vintage style ensembles better than her. The maroon, mustard, red and orange hues of these traditionally ethnic outfits are so fashionably appropriate for the approaching wedding season. The gorgeous jewellery pieces are fully complimenting the dresses and are taking the finished look of each ensemble up a notch.
