Mahira Khan

Mahira Khan is the latest celebrity that found herself in the grip of coronavirus. The superstar took to her social media to break the news and urged her fans and followers to follow the SOPs. “I have tested positive for Covid-19. I’m isolating and have informed all those who were in close contact with me over the last few days,” she wrote while announcing her being tested positive for covid-19. She continued and said, “It’s been rough but it will be okay soon, InshaAllah. Please, please, wear a mask and follow all other SOPs – for your sake and others.”

Neelum Muneer

Neelum Muneer is yet another star that tested positive for the virus. The Dil Mom Ka Diya actress shared the news on her Instagram, where she also urged the followers to take the virus seriously. “I would like to give you all a helpful update on some of the things I have been going through at my end for the past few days. I have tested positive for covid-19, however my family members are all safe and healthy, Alhamdulillah,” she wrote. Adding that contracting the virus has been the most challenging thing that she had to experience, she said that she has quarantined herself and is also doing much better now. Urging her fans to observe all the SOPs, she wrote, “I request all of my well-wishers to please pray for my speedy recovery and I also request all of you to please observe all SOPs. Protect your loved ones by wearing masks in public places, avoid large gatherings, boost your immune system and above all, trust in Allah.”

Sanam Jung

Sanam Jung is also among the latest celebrities to contract the virus. Sanam broke the news on her social media saying that she is self isolating at home with minor symptoms. She wrote, "I would like to inform all my well-wishers that I have tested positive for Covid-19. My daughter and I have been in complete isolation and thankfully, Alhamdulillah, have no severe symptoms." Insisting her followers not to take the virus for granted and to take all the necessary measures to limit its spread, she wrote, "I would request all of you to take this pandemic seriously – covid is real, please take necessary precautions. Wear a mask and avoid public spaces. Stay indoors and be safe."
