Chinese Orange Beef Stir-Fry with Noodles

Ingredients

· 650 g sirloin steak

· Corn flour

· Vegetable oil

· 5-6 garlic cloves

· Juice of 1 orange

· 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce

· 1 bunch spring onions

Method

Trim the steak and cut into strips. Working in batches, toss the beef in a little corn flour, shaking off any excess. Heat a little vegetable oil in a non-stick pan and stir-fry for about two minutes, until golden. Set aside on a plate. Add the garlic, orange juice and soy sauce to the pan, and bring it to boil. Return the beef to the pan plus any meat juices, and then add the spring onions and heat through. Serve warm with egg noodles.
