With the entire world moving to digital platforms, more so post covid-19, Pakistan finally understands the need of the hour. Multiple online platforms launched in the last couple of years to cater to a wide range of audiences. A recent addition to the list is Innovative Digestive Showtime that has been created to provide quality entertainment to local audiences, featuring incredibly talent. The platform officially launched recently amidst a star-studded event in Lahore. Attendees included Sanam Saeed, Mohib Mirza and others at the helm of affairs at Digestive Showtime. The platform claims to provide “full-on entertainment” in the form of five short films, directed by five filmmakers, under 150 minutes of entertainment. Featuring Wahaj Ali, Zahid Ahmed, Sanam Saeed, Mohib Mirza, Feroze Khan, Mehmood Aslam, Marina Khan, Sohai Ali Abro and others in integral roles, the five short films look promising. The first short to release is called Yorker. It is directed by Ahsan Rahim, who made his big-screen debut with Teefa in Trouble that garnered both critical and commercial acclaims.
