Music fans in Karachi are upset after singer Atif Aslam cancelled his performance at the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Park, Clifton. According to sources, people had been lining up since early evening. Concert goers got word of the cancellation just a few minutes before the doors were supposed to open. The concert was cancelled because of the negligence on the part of the organisers. A post on the singer’s social media page stated that, “We regret to inform you all that due to disruption by the local authorities on account of the inability of the organisers to obtain the required local permissions, the concert in Karachi would not be taking place today dated: March 13, 2021. We would request the fans to contact the concert management at the venue for further updates regarding the tickets bought.” Although the organisers announced that the show has been postponed. They told ticket holders to keep their tickets and they will be updated about the next date of the concert. Hearing this, fans were left upset and they shared their disappointment on social media and many criticised the management.
