Model turned actor, Aamna Ilyas has been a part of several dramas, films and short films over the past few years. After proving herself as a multitalented artist, she took to social media to share a glimpse of the upcoming short film Blackout, which is produced by her. Earlier, she also shared the poster of the said short. “Poster of our first short film Blackout releasing soon on my YouTube channel,” she wrote on Instagram. The short film was released on 11th September 2021. “Two sworn enemies stuck in an elevator,” read the official description. Blackout has been directed by Dawar Mehmood and penned by Sajid Hasan. The teaser features an intense encounter between two people who are enemies but were probably friends in the past. “My first chotiiii see shadeed short kahani as a director,” shared Dawar. The cast includes Najaf Bilgrami, Shafqat Khan and Tanveer Gill. Superstar Humayun Saeed also took to Twitter to share the teaser and congratulate Aamna for the project.
