Maha Ali Kazmi's highly anticipated new single, titled City Lights, recently released nationwide. This release follows the tremendous success of Acoustic Station's Kashmiri-Urdu adaptation of the song Sahibo and the collaborative track We Are One. The latter featured 40 artists from 7 countries who joined forces to deliver a message of hope. City Lights marks Maha's latest single since the onset of the pandemic and distinguishes itself from the singers’ previous works as it represents her first foray into the realm of English EDM/Pop tracks. Composed and written by Maha herself, the song showcases her versatility as an artist and her ability to adapt to different musical styles. On the launch of the song, Maha said, “i City Lights holds a profound meaning for me as it delves into the depths of heartbreak and separation, while also embracing the hope of reunion. As I experienced the loss of someone dear to me, I poured my emotions into this song without explicitly mentioning the source of inspiration. By infusing my emotions into the song, I hope to touch the hearts of others and remind them that even in moments of heartbreak, there is always a flicker of hope shining through.”
