At the age of 21, Hayla was appointed the only Arab Change Ambassador for gender equality by the United Nations and YouTube to represent the Middle East and North Africa region. Featured in Forbes Top 10 Arab Women Social Media Influencers and ranked #30 in the list of the 100 Most Inspirational People in the Emirate Dubai. Selected as the only Arab YouTube content creator to interview Pope Francis in Vatican City and spoke at many international seminars in attendance of 1000+ people including the top global event, Cannes Lions Festival in France. She was also honoured with the Arab Women’s Award for the New Media Category in 2016.
