A new month looms on the horizon which means lots of new movies coming to Netflix! Here are our top picks of the best and most anticipated new movies that are due to hit your screen in Pakistan this month.

Tammy
It’s Coming to Netflix: October 14th
It is the American road comedy film directed and co-written by Ben Falcone and produced, co-written by, and starring Melissa McCarthy as the title character. The film also stars Susan Sarandon, Allison Janney, Gary Cole, Mark Duplass, Nat Faxon, Toni Collette, Sandra Oh, with Dan Aykroyd, and Kathy Bates. The film tells the story of a woman named Tammy who hits the road with her profane, alcoholic grandmother after finding out her husband is cheating.


Camp Courage
Coming to Netflix: October 15th
It is a story of bravery in the shadow of the Russia-Ukraine War. In 2022, a young Ukrainian girl named Milana traveled with her grandmother, Olga, to a week-long summer camp in the Austrian Alps. It wasn’t a typical camping trip, though – the pair were refugees of the Russia-Ukraine War, and the camp hosted other families affected by the long shadows of the conflict with Russia. Milana and Olga’s journey is documented in Camp Courage, a new documentary short from director Max Lowe.


Long Shot
Coming to Netflix: October 16th
Long Shot is a comedy-romance film. It is about a free-spirited journalist, Fred meets Charlotte, who is smart, sophisticated, and an influential diplomat. Despite having nothing in common, Fred and Charlotte bonded over shared memories as she used to be his babysitter, and he had a crush on her. When Charlotte prepares to run for Presidency, she hires Fred as her speechwriter, where he finds himself out of place in the midst of her advisors. The two grow closer with time but must fight unexpected and dangerous incidents.
