Chicken Shinwari Karahi

Ingredients
· 1 kg chicken

· ½ cup oil

· 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste

· ¼ cup yogurt

· ½ cup chopped onion

· 2 cups chopped tomatoes

· 1 teaspoon salt

· 2 teaspoons red chilli powder

· 2 teaspoons crushed coriander seeds

· 1 teaspoon crushed cumin seeds

· 2 tablespoons chopped green chillies

· Chopped coriander, sliced green chillies, ginger julienne for garnish

Method
Heat oil in a wok and stir fry chopped onion until light golden. Now put ginger garlic paste and stir for two minutes. Then add chicken and stir it slightly for five minutes. Put tomatoes with salt, red chili powder, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and ½ cup water and simmer it for 30 minutes until chicken is tender. Now add yogurt and chopped green chilies and mix for five minutes till oil separates. Then sprinkle coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger and karahi masala powder for garnishing. Serve with naan.
