Despite its fifty-year history, Akuma-Kun has only ever received one anime adaptation. However, it’s been over 33 years since the previous adaptation came to an end in Japan. The synopsis for Akuma Kun has been sourced from IMDb; “A boy trying create a society where humanity realises its true potential and lives happily, with the help of some unlikely allies.”

Resident Evil: Death Island (2023)

The second Capcom anime to arrive on Netflix this month is the latest installment in the Resident Evil franchise. All of the fan-favourite characters will be making a return in Death Island, including Leon Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers.

Another passion project that David Fincher has been interested in for years, The Killer is an adaptation of Alexis Nolent’s graphic novel. Upon release, The Killer will be the second feature film from Fincher of his four years exclusive deal with Netflix.
