Among those paying tribute is actor Zac Efron, who took a poignant moment during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony to honour his late friend and co-star from 17 Again, as reported by People.

In his speech, Efron expressed deep gratitude for Perry's kindness and generosity during their collaboration, describing it as immensely enjoyable and a source of inspiration. He credited Perry with propelling him into the next chapter of his career.

As per Perry's friend Athenna Crosby, The West Wing actor expressed interest in a future collaboration with Efron. “He said that he wanted to make a movie about his life, and he had worked with Zac Efron in the past on a movie and he said that he wanted Zac Efron to play him as a younger version,” Crosby disclosed.
