Zac Efron pays tribute to Matthew Perry

Friends and fellow celebrities continue to mourn the sudden loss of Matthew Perry, the beloved actor known for his role in the iconic '90s sitcom Friends with an outpouring of heartfelt condolences. Among those paying tribute is actor Zac Efron, who took a poignant moment during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony to honour his late friend and co-star from 17 Again, as reported by People.

In his speech, Efron expressed deep gratitude for Perry's kindness and generosity during their collaboration, describing it as immensely enjoyable and a source of inspiration. He credited Perry with propelling him into the next chapter of his career.

As per Perry's friend Athenna Crosby, The West Wing actor expressed interest in a future collaboration with Efron. “He said that he wanted to make a movie about his life, and he had worked with Zac Efron in the past on a movie and he said that he wanted Zac Efron to play him as a younger version,” Crosby disclosed.
