‘Jawan’ lands the third spot in global Google searches for films

In the closing chapters of 2023, Google's Year in Search has once again provided a captivating snapshot of the trends, triumphs and tribulations of the digital landscape. For fans of King Khan, the report has unveiled Pathaan and Jawan as the pulse of global curiosity, according to The Indian Express.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan emerged as the most searched Indian and the third most Googled film worldwide, trailing behind only Barbie and Oppenheimer. This high-octane action thriller amassed a staggering INR 11.6 billion in global box office earnings. SRK’s Pathaan featuring the dynamic duo of Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, also achieved a groundbreaking milestone by becoming the inaugural film to surpass the INR 6.5 billion mark in global box office earnings. Despite receiving mixed reviews, this espionage thriller managed to collect a lifetime worldwide gross of INR 10.5 billion, claiming the noteworthy tenth spot on the global search rankings.
