I have never felt like a superstar: Salman Khan opens up on stardom

In a recent interview, Bollywood megastar Salman Khan candidly expressed his reluctance to embrace the 'superstar' tag, asserting that nothing about him qualifies him as a superstar. Despite the recent success of his latest film, Tiger 3, which hit theatres on November 12, and the fact that he's built a name and following synonymous with an empire, the actor remains grounded in his approach to stardom.

During an interview with IndiaToday.in, Salman dismantled the notion of being a "superstar”, stating, "I have never felt that way. I have never felt like a superstar, ever. My habits are not that of a superstar. The way I travel, the way I dress, there is nothing I do that speaks “superstar”. My mind is not tuned that way."

Emphasising the point further, the Sultan star said, "I don't think Salman Khan is a superstar. I have never felt it. I am just happy to wake up in the morning, have my coffee and start my day. I just want to give my best." The actor, often spotted in casual outfits at Bollywood events, parties, and even red-carpet affairs, remains true to his unpretentious style. Even during various Diwali celebrations last month, Salman stood out with his basic denim looks, diverging from the extravagant fashion choices often associated with Bollywood stars.
