Philly Steak Sandwich

Ingredients:
· ½ teaspoon salt
· ½ teaspoon black pepper
· ½ teaspoon paprika
· ½ teaspoon chilli powder
· ½ teaspoon onion powder
· ½ teaspoon garlic powder
· ½ teaspoon dried thyme
· ½ teaspoon dried basil
· 500g beef sirloin, cut into thin 2-inch strips
· 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
· 1 onion, sliced
· 1 capsicum, julienned
· Cheese to taste, thinly sliced
· 4 hoagie rolls, split lengthwise

Method:
Mix together salt, pepper, paprika, chilli powder, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme and basil in a small bowl. Place beef in a large bowl. Sprinkle seasoning mixture on top and stir to coat. Heat half of the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and sauté until done. Remove to a plate.
Heat the remaining oil in the skillet. Add onion and capsicum, and sauté until tender. Preheat the oven on the broiler setting. Divide cooked beef between the bottoms of four rolls. Layer with onion and capsicum then top with sliced cheese. Place on a cookie sheet. Broil in the preheated oven until cheese is melted. Cover with the tops of rolls and serve.
