Taunts have a way of circling back to you when you are at your most vulnerable: Nadia Khan

Actress and TV host Nadia Khan sat down for a candid chat with host Nida Yasir in an episode chronicling the various facets of womanhood. Recounting a painful anecdote from her youth, Nadia expressed her belief in karma regarding people who taunt others over what they perceive as a misfortune.
The Kam Zarf actress recalled a woman who would persistently look down upon her mother for having only daughters. “She would say, ‘I have four sons so I am at peace but Tahira what will you do? You have four daughters’,” Nadia shared. She furthered on, “It used to hurt me so much how she would taunt my mother. Time passed and now that aunty is so sick. Now, her constant plea is: I wish I had a daughter,” Nadia remarked, insisting that old age is a phase that daughters are better able to assist with.
Nadia contended, “Taunts have a way of circling back to you when you are at your most vulnerable. This is life. This karma. What goes around, comes around with even more intensity. This is why people should be careful about what they say and fear Allah.”
