Actress Hareem Farooq is making her big screen comeback with Faysal Quraishi-starrer, Mango Jatt. The Parchi star was last seen in the 2019 film Heer Maan Ja, opposite Ali Rehman Khan. Mango Jatt also marks her first-ever Punjabi film. This big-budget extravaganza is poised to redefine Punjabi cinema and will bring together a constellation of seasoned actors from Punjab and Sindh. Director Aleeha shared, “The movie is unique in the sense that it is casting experienced theatre actors from both, Punjab and Sindh. It will be a stepping stone in uniting the provinces' fan base.” At the helm of this stellar ensemble is Faysal Quraishi, who steps into the shoes of a Punjabi hero for the first time and will be essaying the titular role in the film. With the script already locked in, the casting process is in full swing, and sources have confirmed that the negotiations are underway with the three A-list female stars for the coveted lead role.
