60 SECONDS WITH FAHAD MIRZA

Pakistani actor, model and plastic surgeon, Fahad Mirza is one of the most phenomenal actors of the drama industry. Mirza has been a part of the fashion and entertainment industry for almost 13 years now and made his career debut with modeling in 2007. He is best known for his role as Essa in 2012 drama serial Bari Aapa and has also appeared in dramas like Mutthi Bhar Mitti, Main Deewani and Shanakht. In 2014, he starred alongside his wife Sarwat Gillani in the highly acclaimed short film Baat Cheet. MAG sits down with the heartthrob for a light and fun rapid fire. Excerpts:

If your life had a theme song, what would it be?

Survivour by Destiny’s Child.

If you could bring one fictional character to life, who would it be?

Dr Strange.

Do you have a useless talent?

Yes, I can binge watch TV like a champ!

Best compliment you have ever received?

“Thank you, Dr Fahad, you saved her life!”

If you could be a child for one day, what would you do?

I would buy that toy machine gun that I really wanted, but no one bought me. Every time I would go to the shop, I would stare at it.

An item you like to collect?

A Rolex.

What can turn the day around for you?

When I do a great scene.

Your favourite health care regimen?

Favourite, is a pipe dream, I don’t have time, so I can only manage 30 minutes of cardio.

Something you wish you had more time to do?

Sculpting and reading.

If you could meet a person for the first time again, who would it be?

This girl that I met only once, no names [laughs].
