· 2 tablespoons ghee

· 10-15 cashews

· 10-12 almonds

· 10-12 pistachios

· 10-15 raisins

· 6-7 dates

· 1 cup vermicelli

· 1 ltr milk

· 4 tablespoons sugar

· 2 teaspoons rose water

· 1 teaspoon cardamom powder


Heat ghee in a pan on medium heat. Add chopped nuts, raisins, dates and cook for two minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside. Add vermicelli in the pan and mix well. Roast until it turns golden brown. Then, add milk to the pan and stir. Increase the heat and let it come to a boil. Stir often in between. Lower the heat and let it boil for eight minutes. When the milk thickens slightly, add in the sugar and mix. Transfer the fried nuts into the pan. Add rose water and cardamom powder. Cook for two more minutes on low heat and serve.
