Amir Khan and Faryal Makhdoom to provide financial assistance to Zohra Shah's family

The boxing star Amir Khan and his Instagram-famous wife have initiated to protect children in Pakistan and to help eradicate human rights violations following the tragic murder of Zohra Shah. The couple has pledged to support the family of the deceased. Faryal shared on her Instagram stories, "Amir and I have personally contacted Zohra's father and hoping to speak to him shortly. Thank you to everyone, especially the lawyers, barristers and human rights activists who are supporting us." The story of an eight-year old who was tortured and beaten to death by her employers after she freed a pair of parrots from the cage was heart-wrenching. Faryal then, also shared a post and wrote, "The father has told us that he has six kids. The father sent his daughter (Zohra) to Islamabad with her khala to study there. The lady then put Zohra Shah to work where she was beaten to death." The social media influencer explained how his husband’s organisation will help the deceased child’s family, "I am sending a member of the @amirkhanfoundation tomorrow to visit Zohra Shah's father's home, and give our donations. We will take responsibility [for] the family, schooling the children and providing their needs."
