Since releasing his debut song, Tere Liye in 2013, singer, songwriter and music composer Abdullah Qureshi’s success and maturity as an artist has grown by leaps. His songs speak of the awe-inspiring transition the talented songster has made while growing from performing covers on YouTube to creating originals. If you were to run away and start fresh, where would you go?

Anywhere in the mountains, surrounded by nature.

Best and worst purchase you have ever made?

Best purchase: Any Apple device. Worst: Any android/windows device. I once bought a windows laptop, sold it the next day and bought a MacBook.

Favourite book of all time?

I can’t read books, I really want to though.

One ridiculous thing you grew up believing as a child?

When I looked up the mountains and saw all the trees, I thought those were camels walking in a line.

If you could pick your own nickname, what would it be?

I like people calling me Qureshi.

What would a day with yourself look like?

A day full of entertainment or maybe just a lazy day.

How do you take your coffee?

Black, lifts me up!

A fear/phobia you have?

I’m scared of heights.

One outrageous dream?

I want to pack very less clothes one day, start travelling and see every corner of the world.
