Cancer has touched most of our lives, whether we’ve battled it ourselves or have supported loved ones who were fighting it. It’s no surprise that many celebrities have also grappled with their own cancer diagnoses. One such celebrity is Bollywood’s ace actor, Sanjay Dutt. Dutt, who was rushed to hospital in Mumbai after complaining of chest discomfort and breathlessness, has been diagnosed with stage three lung cancer. The news was confirmed by Bollywood’s trade analyst and film industry insider Komal Nahta. “Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with lung cancer. Let’s pray for his speedy recovery,” tweeted Nahta. Whereas Dutt also took to his social media and said, “Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!” We wish the actor a speedy recovery.
