Look at red carpet pictures from any given year, and you can be transported back in time, remembering the biggest names, the major trends, and, sometimes, even the biggest issues that were weighing on people's minds. The last year changed how we consumed and talked about fashion. Some of the most talked-about red carpet looks of recent months bear little resemblance to what we might have seen in the pre-lockdown days. But as we look back, we found plenty of memorable looks we still think about and reference today. These red-carpet moments are what we can all agree on. Read on to see who made an impression.

Mawra Hocane looked timeless in a stunning tulle gown with an embellished bodice. The tassels hanging at the sleeves added that extra dose of sparkle to her outfit. Her soft glam makeup look and hair pulled back in a ponytail finished off her look perfectly.

Naveen Waqar offset her edgy persona with a surprisingly ethereal peach cigarette pants and high-slit shirt. She also draped a full-on sequined dupatta to finish off her look. Her loose wavy updo falls perfectly with her outfit.

We love how Mikaal Zulfiqar went for an Eastern-Western fusion by pairing a classic black sherwani with a pair of jeans. This gives his traditional attire a modern look.

Maya Ali looked like a winner in this classic choice of princess gown and major jewels. Her flouncy and billowy ruffled gown exuded a feminine charm. This dress is oh-so-dreamy!

Sheheryar Munawar stepped out on the red carpet of the 18th Lux Style Awards in a classic tuxedo and bow tie. With his textured velvet dark blue blazer and the right amount of accessories, the heartthrob sure knows how to turn heads.

Mushk Kaleem literally put her best foot forward in the red ruffled gown she wore to the 18th Lux Style Awards. Her knee length dress with a ruffled skirt and matching red eyeshadow was so iconic that it’s bound to make it to our list for years to come.

Fahad Mustafa is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to style in general and the red carpet style in particular. He’s always bringing fun elements to his look. Here, he’s doing the same by opting for a blazer with big floral motifs.
