60 SECONDS WITH MAHENUR HAIDER

Despite being in the modelling industry for the past few years, Mahenur is a relatively new name among the television-watching masses. But with dramas like Aulaad and Ishq Hai, and movies like Teefa in Trouble and Parchi, Mahenur is now slow and steadily becoming a known face. She has been in the modelling business for quite a few years and has carved a niche, thanks to her princess-esque looks. It was at the age of 17 when she first stepped into modelling in 2013, from then on she kept up with not just her work but also her studies side by side. A Visual Communication Designer by education, Mahenur stepped into the acting industry as soon as she was done with her studies and was approached by the film producer Imran Kazmi, who wanted her to be a part of his project and it was then that Mahenur agreed to make her silver screen debut. The gorgeous starlet joins MAG for a quick and fun rapid fire. Here are 60 seconds from her life. Excerpts:

Best part of the day for you is…

Morning. I am a morning person. I just love mornings!

If stuck on an island…

I would be grateful.

Life for you is…

Life is unpredictable.

What’s your best memory to-date?

Nothing specific; in fact, every day is memorable for me.

My best vacation memory is…

When I went to Poland for Teefa’s shooting and met some really lovely Polish people who made my trip worthwhile.

What’s your beauty philosophy?

Beauty comes from within. If you’re negative on the inside, no beauty product can cure you. It’ll always reflect; one way or the other. And that’s really unattractive.

What’s your workout regime?

It’s been a long time since I’ve worked out. But I control my diet a lot. Even though healthy eating is good enough, I really need to get back to exercising.

What do you enjoy doing more, acting or modelling?

I love my work, there’s no comparison. Shoots are different, movies are different.
