The electropop universe was developed back in the ‘80s but it became vast in 2000s with brilliant newish acts emerging, and experimentalists pushing the music forward. Meanwhile, a few legends returned to show us all how it's really done, Meesha Shafi being one of them. Her newest single Hot Mango Chutney Sauce is an electropop number with Urdu, Punjabi and English lyrics and an upbeat music. The lyrics for the song are written by Shafi herself while Abdullah Siddiqui is the producer for the song. The music video has been co-directed by Shafi and Awais Gohar. The art direction was led by Meesha Shafi and Hashim Ali and it features models Eman Suleman, Zara Peerzada, Rubab Ali, Abdullah Siddiqui, Hashim Ali and anonymous content creator Swineryy.
