You might be wondering, what is an ethereal makeup look? Well, ethereal means light, airy, and delicate. Therefore, ethereal beauty conveys the idea of feminine and romantic aesthetics, a light, airy, and delicate appearance. When it comes to ethereal and natural summer makeup, think of just that, a light and delicate, romantic, more natural and feminine (not overly sexy) look. To get the look, follow our instructions below to get a heavenly visage:

Step # 1: Face

For skin prep, use The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser and Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. For a soft base, use Givenchy Teint Couture Everwear in the shade Y300. To mask dark circles, and other small blemishes visible on the skin, use Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in the shade Light Sand. To help set foundation, control shine, and smooth out blemishes and fine lines, use the Fenty Beauty's Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Setting Powder in the shade Butter. To define your features, use Luscious Face Contour Kit. To add a flush of colour to the cheeks, use Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush. For highlighting your cheek bones, bridge of your nose and cupid's bow, use Becca Champagne Pop.

Step # 2: Eyes
Prime the lids

Begin by priming the lids. Using just a tiny amount, apply all over the lids going up to the brow bone. Give it a couple of minutes for the primer to dry before applying your eyeshadow. Once dried, you can take the extra step of setting it with a bit of setting powder if you want to.

Base colour

Next, apply a base colour to the lids. You can apply a nude shade from the BECCA X Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Eye Palette all over the lid taking it up to the brow bone.

Crease and transition

Now take a crease and blend brush, and apply an amber shade into the crease. Blend that out using windshield-wiping motions as well as circular motions to blend up onto the transition area, the area just above the crease.

Lid shade

Using a brush, you now want to apply a champagne shade on the lids. First, pat the eyeshadow on, then gently blend the edges out making sure not to go higher than to the beginning of the crease.

Bottom lash line

You now want to apply some of that amber eyeshadow on the bottom lash line. Apply it all the way across using a crease and blend brush, using windshield-wiping motions to blend it out.

Highlight

Now apply a shimmery shade from your palette to the inner corners and on the brow bone to highlight the eyes.

Blend, blend, blend

Using a clean, fluffy eyeshadow brush – we suggest the MAC Cosmetics Tapered Blending Brush #224 – diffuse the shades together, so that there aren't any harsh lines.
Line your eyes

Run a black eyeliner from the middle of your upper lash line to the outer corner, increasing the thickness of the line as you go for added dimension. Smudge the liner into the eyeshadow, and then line the inner rim of your lower lash line for added drama. You can use NYX Cosmetics Slide On Eye Pencil in brown here.

Coat your lashes

For the final step, lacquer up your lashes with two coats of mascara to intensify the look of your eyes. We suggest you swipe on some Lancome Hypnose Doll Lashes here.

Step # 3: Lips

To add colour and texture to your lips, you can use Anastasia Beverly Hills Lipstick in Pink Champagne which is a moderately warm-toned, velvety-smooth lipstick with a matte finish.
