At a certain point in your longest relationship, was there a point where you had to decide to make a commitment or move on and explore dating other people? That’s the idea behind a new reality dating series called The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On. Created by the producers of Love Is Blind, the contestants in The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On are already in couples. But one of the members of the six participating couples has issued an ultimatum to the other: It’s time to either get married or end the relationship. Each couple will be given a chance to live with one of the other contestants that’s not their significant other, to see if they are more on the same page as they were with the partners they entered the contest with, or if they think that they want to go back to the person they started with. After a week of mixing and mingling, the contestants will select whom they want to be paired with. The new couples will mingle for three weeks, then all the original couples will be together. The contestants will then decide whether to get engaged to their original SOs, go with the new person they shacked up with, or go on with their lives. We get introductions to the original couples. Everyone is then open to meeting every other opposite-gender contestant, all in view of their original SOs.
