Ahad Raza Mir has some eyebrows raised for his steamy scenes in ‘Resident Evil’

Morally policed!

Hollywood and bold scenes are easily synonymous with each other. It is a total OG when it comes to being steamy on screen. Now, with it often comes a lot of brickwork, especially from what’s known as the moral police. And even though it has always been a great deal if any Pakistani celebrity has made it to the big league in the West, not many are ready to see our stars follow the same trajectory. The latest Pakistani to make it to Hollywood is Pakistani-Canadian actor Ahad Raza Mir, who has sparked some debate with his role in Netflix original series Resident Evil. Mir received major criticism from netizens after clips from his ongoing series surfaced on Instagram. According to viewers, Mir has shot quite some eyebrow raising scenes by starring in a few steamy ones. Netizens and viewers believe that there should be certain boundaries set by a local actor when he or she performs overseas. People have said that the scenes are inappropriate and unsuitable. What do you think about the issue? Should Mir have been more sensitive to social norms or the audience shouldn’t tie morality with their artists?
