Ricardo Quevedo: Tomorrow Will Be Worse is the latest stand-up comedy special released on Netflix. It is Ricardo Quevedos’ third Netflix comedy special and is available with English subtitles. It was recorded at the iconic Teatro Faenza in Bogotá, where he celebrates 20 years in comedy and talks about his life, his marriage, and the pandemic. The stand-up starts with a black-and-white video skit, where Ricardo Quevedo talks about facing many failures in life but still getting up and moving forward. He says if you are too sick of living at someone else’s pace and of the go-getter attitude, take a break and watch this show. It’s okay to give up once in a while. Until this point, it seems like he is trying to cheer up his audience after the difficult years filled with stress and anxiety. But wait till he says that; what we do isn’t worth a damn because tomorrow will be worse. Well, he isn’t telling a lie and smells like a clickbait line to grab attention and make people listen to you. The stand-up hasn’t started yet, and from the black-and-white video, we come back to the colourful stage, where the Colombian comic enters. And like other stand-up specials, his set material also has some pandemic-related stuff.
