The news coming from Istanbul are horrifying and unacceptable. My deepest condolences to the people of #Turkey and to the families of the victims of this barbaric attack. My thoughts are with Istanbul.

At least six people have been killed and 81 wounded in a recent explosion in the Taksim Square area of central Istanbul. Shaista Lodhi sent her condolences for all the victims of the blast.

There’s a paid smear campaign doing rounds against #Joyland, a film that made history for Pakistani cinema, got passed by all censor boards but now authorities are caving into pressure from some malicious people who have not even seen the film. No one’s forcing anyone to watch it! So don’t force anyone to not watch it either! Pakistani viewers are smart enough to know what they want to watch or not. Let Pakistanis decide! Don’t insult their intelligence and our hard work! #ReleaseJoyland

Sarwat Gilani is clearly not happy with the recent development that has emerged on the scene putting up a ban on Saim Sadiq’s big screen flick Joyland and that too when it was just about to release. According to the actress there has been a paid smear campaign going on to sabotage the release of the film.

Feel privileged & honoured to be part of The Crown team. Thank you all for your warm wishes, your congratulatory messages and your appreciation. Means the world to me! @netflix @TheCrownNetflix

Humayun Saeed looked absolutely dapper at the premiere of Netflix’s The Crown. The actor thanked everyone as appreciations started to pour in with the actor’s Hollywood debut that glorifies Pakistan’s representation in Hollywood.
