Pakistan’s biggest bridal extravaganza, the Bridal Couture Week (PHBCW) came back with a bang this year to celebrate its 20th edition in Lahore with a star-studded line up of celebrities. The centre of attention for us surely would be the real life celebrity couples who walked the ramp as show-stoppers for various designers.

DAY 1

The opening day of the three-day bridal extravaganza had a brilliant line-up of celebrities walking for the designers – Sabeeka Imam, Fehmeen, Saboor Aly and her beau Ali Ansari, Ali Grehen, Risham Faiz, while singers Hassan and Rahim and Wahab Shah show-stopped for Fahad Hussayn. The gorgeous Minal Khan and Ahsan Mohsin Ikram walked for Haris Shakeel, while Hareem Farooq and singer Sehar Gul graced the ramp for Shoaib Ismail. Designer Ali Haider presented Sadaf Kanwal and Saad Qureshi as his show-stoppers whereas the super gorgeous Ayeza Khan walked the ramp for Kanwal Malik. The beautiful Kubra Khan added allure to Reema Ahsan’s collection while QB and Mehreen Syed walked the ramp for Zonia Anwaar.

DAY 2

Second day of the bridal extravaganza was a continuation of the glitz and glamour with the amazing line up of artists brightening the catwalk for burgeoning couturiers, bridal wear designers and retail brands. The stunning Aiman Khan and Affan Waheed show-stopped for Maha Wajahat Khan. The dashing Mikaal Zulfiqar walked the ramp for Shaffer by Grace Fabrics, while Nimra Khan walked for Naila’s Haute Couture. Kinza Hashmi walked the ramp for Abeera Usman’s collection and looked absolutely gorgeous. Actor Muneeb Butt show-stopped for Shahid Afridi’s debut collection while the very talented Ushna Shah and Abdul Hannan added allure to Samsara Couture’s collection. Tayab Moazzam Studio presented Komal Meer as their show-stopper and Soch the Band performed for Jermyn Street while Emmad Irfani walked the ramp for the brand. Last but not the least, Fehmeen Ansari show-stopped for Umsha by Uzma Baber.

DAY 3

The show concluded after presenting unique, experimental and traditional bridal trends. The final day also had a delightful line up of celebrities walking as show-stoppers for various brands. The day’s proceedings started with a special segment by the title sponsor featuring dance group The Colony. Day three had a brilliant line-up of celebrities gracing the ramp with their utmost glamour. The incredible Sadaf Kanwal and Shehroz Sabzwari walked for Shamsha Hashwani, while Sami Khan walked the ramp for Ahsan’s Menswear. Rabia Butt show-stopped for Sheeba Kapadia. The lively Saheefa Jabbar walked for Shakeel’s by Zeeshan and Danish, whereas comedian Tabish Hashmi and Umar Alam closed the show for Humayun Alamgir while the singing sensation Kaifi Khalil performed for the brand. The sensational Mehreen Syed walked for Mehdi. The bridal extravaganza ended with a grand finale by Rizwan Beyg which featured the stunning Sana Javed.
